Jaylen Brown has signed the largest contract in NBA history, and he wants to make sure everyone who had a hand in that knows how grateful he is.
This week, Boston Celtics player Brown sent a really sweet personal email to Mike Singer of the Denver Post. Singer was a member of the media that voted for Brown to make All-NBA last season.
It began, “Dear Mike,” on Brown’s note to the former. “I just wаnted to sаy thanks for selecting me to the All-NBA team last year. As a player in today’s NBA, I am well aware of the significance of the All-NBA voting system and the influence it has on my career. I’m also aware that none of you, as journalists, volunteered for this.
Even yet, I know you considered all worthy candidates and I am grateful for your vote. Thank you once more, and best wishes to you and your loved ones during this off-season. Best, Brown, Jaylen.”Singer’s nаme appears on the public All-NBA votes, thus we know that he supported Brown’s selection to the Second Team. When Brown finally made the All-NBA Second Team (his first All-NBA team), the Celtics were able to offer him a supermax contract deal. Last month, he signed a record-breаking supermax contract with the Boston Celtics that would pay him $304 million over five years.
Some people in Boston don’t think Brown is worth that much money. After receiving such a large sum of money, Brown cannot be accused of being ungrateful.
