Messi Finds Paddle Tennis Easier Than Tennis

Lionel Messi, a great Argentine player, has admitted that he prefers paddle tennis to tennis. Tennis is currently experiencing a challenging period in its history, while the similar sport of paddle tennis is becoming increasingly popular worldwide, giving it a run for its money.

Some well-known tennis players have also recently opted to pursue different sports instead of professional tennis. But according to the great footballer Messi, playing tennis is still the real challenge.

Apparently, the ex-Barça striker and his wife tried playing tennis once, but he never returned since he just couldn’t get the hang of it. “You really need to know how to play well to be able to play tennis,” he stated, adding that the sport is more challenging than paddle tennis. “There’s a lot of technicality. It was my best effort.

Antonela and I attended a few classes together a long time ago, but after that, we stopped going. It seems fun, but I have no idea how to play it.”

Many consider Messi to be the best football player of all time. He spent most of his professional football career with Barcelona, a team in Spain’s La Liga, where he had his greatest success. He spent two seasons with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) of France after leaving the Spanish club when his contract expired. He is now a member of the Inter Miami soccer team in Major League Soccer (MLS).

Among Messi’s achievements are ten La Liga, four Champions League, and seven Copa del Rey championships with Barcelona. The Argentine national team, which he was a part of, won their third FIFA World Cup after a penalty shootout victory over the reigning champions, France. Messi has won seven Ballon d’Or trophies, more than any other male footballer in history. In 904 career games in professional football, he has scored over 700 goals and provided 355 assists.
